Hang On — Hope Comes in the Morning
What do you do when things go wrong-when the rough winds blow-when you lose your job-when your business goes under? Just recently Colleen and I realized a dream/our business was coming to an end. The Rinsz, our carwash, was going to be no more. For others, jobs are being lost. The economy is in a tailspin.
The advice is simple—“Hang On!” Stay in the race, Remain faithful, Pray without ceasing, Rely on GOD to see you through. God is faithful. His promises are sure. His grace is sufficient. His love is complete.
Doubt and fear are instruments of our adversary, the Devil. Trials and tribulations will come, James 1:2-4. We have to be strong in the Lord... and be made mature and complete.
Paul who suffered much more than we ever will gives us solid advice on crisis management: “Not only so, but we also rejoice in our suffering, because we know that suffering (disappointments) produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us,” Romans 5:3-5.
Hang in there … pray… and continue to share God's Good News with others. The race we are in has already been won.
