Prayers for Our Youth

God has given us an amazing gift in this life of being able to access him at any time of the day.
I want to encourage you to go to him on behalf of our youth this week. Over the next several months you will be seeing the goals each individual teen set on our recent retreat. This week please be committed to praying for two of our young ladies. Take the time to let all of them know that you are praying for them and encourage them in their journey with Christ. For privacy's sake these two young ladies' names are being omitted from this article.

The first young lady has made the decision since our trip to Jellico to continue to read her Bible every morning, spend time in prayer, and writing in her journal about the things God is doing in her life. Her spiritual discipline has been a great encouragement to me. Her goals right now are to have more patience, to not let any unwholesome talk come out of her mouth, and finally to stop gossiping. She desires accountability with these temptations and we are asking for help from our congregation. Please pray for her in these areas of her life.

The second young lady desires the discipline to continue to begin her day with God, in reading His word and prayer. She wants to take the time to journal about how God is moving in her life. To help her accomplish these goals she desires to do a better job of surrounding herself with Christian influences that will also hold her accountable with these spiritual disciplines. Please pray for all of our youth and thank you
for your support and encouragement.
