Restart, Recharge, Renew

Thank you once again for all of the support you have given to Kylea and me. We feel like celebrities, but really we are just part of the family of God with you. I also thank you for the patience extended to me during my time of healing and recovery. I was so impressed by the love and care given to me before I could do anything for any of you.

Now, I feel two months behind, but exciting things are happening. I welcome you to stop by my office sometime and see the beautiful handiwork of my wife and Rod Price. We are also settling in nicely to our new and beautiful home in the mountains thanks to many of you. However, the youth ministry is still waiting to go.

It never went away. Thanks to many of you, it has been sustained wonderfully by parents and volunteers. I am so fortunate to be following a wonderful man of God and his wife, Will and Shawna. It’s simply time for a restart. Do you ever need that in your Christian life? If you do, today is the perfect day for that. Restart will be the name of our Sunday bible hour program at 9:30 a.m. Set you alarms and join us then.

By mid-week, I need a recharge. How about you? You get busy, frustrated, disappointed, discouraged, tired, and maybe even sad by what life, school and work throw at you. Wednesday nights give you an opportunity to be encouraged and recharge your mind and spirit by being with the church that cares for you! So, join us Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and for our family meal at 6 p.m. if you can.

Finally, we all need renewal. Our commitment to Christ is for a lifetime not just one time. Every week and even every day our great God gives us that opportunity. We are never alone. The bible says in Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Do you need to do that today?

The youth ministry needs your help. We are here to make an impact. For teens, that means Individually Molding Passionate Active Christian Teens. For parents, it means Individually Motivating Parents as Christian Teachers. In the whole church, we need to come together. Now is the time to restart, renew, and recharge.

Love and Blessings, Rob
