Summer is Comin’

This past Monday and Tuesday Terron Talley (youth minister at Biltmore CoC) and I met up with Hamilton Archibald (minister at the Wondercity CoC) and his wife Lydia in Nashville to make plans for Kid’s Camp 2010. God always blesses us with creative ideas and new things to make Kid’s Camp in West Memphis, AR, as effective as possible. This year we will be walking the street of Egypt with Joseph as we learn from his life and how God was always at work behind the scenes. Parents, pleeaasee make sure to mark your calendars for Kid’s Camp and many other great events planned for the Teens, Young Children, and Families in the coming months!

Honduras Mission Trip: June 26-July 3
Please pray for the 22 adults and teens traveling to Honduras for a mission trip.

Mission Camp (Media & Africa): July 11-16
This camp is for Christian teens who will learn the basic principles and practices of missions while living in a simulated African village.

VBS Day; Children’s Field-Trip to Africa: July 14
A half-day trip for kids ages 4-11. We will meet here at the building around 9 am and travel to Fletcher where the children will get a small taste of what it is like to be a missionary in Africa!

West Memphis Kid’s Camp: July 31 – August 7
Kid’s Camp is a wonderful week where our teens “buddy up” with children from the intercity of West Memphis for a jammed packed day camp that I like to call a VBS on Steroids!

Family Camp: August 13-15
This is the first ever HVL CoC Family Camping Trip. More details to come soon!
