VBS Day “Tales of the Shipwrecked Missionary”

Missionaries often tell encouraging stories how God has helped them through the tough times. We are often amazed at their faithfulness to preach the Gospel under life threatening circumstances. We want to share a story from the life of a missionary who lived many years ago. It is a story of adventure, fear, faithfulness, and God’s protection. We will learn what lengths God will go to see that more people will hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Children, imagine for a moment being on a ship caught in a violent storm. By the looks of things you are confident that the ship will not hold together much longer, but at the same time you know God is going to get you to your destination because he wants the saving message of Jesus preached. You know you are the one God wants to deliver the message and yet you don’t know how you will get there.

Parents bring your children on Tuesday at 9 am as we travel back in time and hear Paul share what it was like on that ship!
