Thank You, Staff

As I look back over this past year I think of all the people who have blessed my life. Today, I would like to recognize three individuals in particular. Those three people are the ones who make up our staff. The first is Carolyn Borman she is a loving, caring, organized and hard working Christian woman who cares very much for this church family. She is very helpful and brings great skills as a secretary to Steve and the Elders. We all appreciate her attitude and love that she exhibits each and everyday. I also want to recognize Cecelia Smith who works part time as the secretary in Carolyn's absence. Cecelia does a great job of filling in and not missing a beat. Thank you ladies for all that you do each and everyday for this church family.

In addition to the secretaries, I would like to thank Steve for all his efforts. Not only in filling the pulpit but all the hours of visiting, teaching, mentoring, wedding and funeral services, counseling and all the many other roles that a minister must carry out with the church. I don't have
enough space to try and list all the many things Steve does. Not to mention getting his doctorate degree. They have all three done a great job even though we have been short handed since Will left in September.

Again, let me thank all three of you for your dedication that you show to this church family. Philippians 2:3, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.” That is truly what kind of spirit all three of you exhibit.
In Christian Love, Duncan Blake
