We Forget Don't We

As I get older- it has become quite apparent to me that I am getting more and more forgetful..."Honey- do you know where I put my keys ?"...."Honey have you seen my reading glasses?..."They are on your forehead Dear"... "Oh"... " Dad could you bring my tie to school?...I forgot it was picture day today"..." What day is it?"... We forget don't we.
Let us each day as we start it ...and as we conclude it not forget to:

Thank God for always being there for us (Heb. 13:5)

Thank God for the avenue of prayer (Matt. 6:9)...We need to speak to him daily

Thank God for creating us (Gen 1:26)... He made us in his image

Thank God for adopting us (Gal. 3:29) ...we are heirs and a chosen people

Thank God for placing us in a free land...where we can worship in spirit and in truth

Thank God for the avenue of worship (Heb. 12:28)...singing together, praying, study and the Lord's Supper

Thank God for the Holy Spirit (Luke 12:12)....I need counsel and comfort ...what about you?

Thank God for the countless blessings I receive each day (James 1:17)

Thank God for the Word which is a lamp for our feet and a light to our pathways

Thank Him for saving us (Luke 19:10) by the precious blood of his Son/Our Savior

Thank God for the hope of eternal life He and he alone provides

And last, thank God for his unconditional ...unwavering love that he has for us (John 3:16)
