Shoots and Sprouts Children’s Ministry
Ages: 0 - 5th grade
Our children’s ministry is rooted in the belief that children are a part of the church just as much as the adults. We work with parents and caregivers to tend the whole child with a specific focus on spiritual development through:

- Fun activities at least once a month
- Devotionals
- Sproutingchildren’s magazine
- Vacation Bible School
- Camp attendance at Palmetto Bible Camp
- Intergenerational church gatherings
- Bible class, weekly
- Children’s worship
Community Playdate
Join us on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month in a relaxed environment. It is a great time to meet other parents and caregivers in the area, while our kids/grandkids have the opportunity to play with each other.

VBS 2025 - "Creation Explorers"
Creation Explorers Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be hosted by Hendersonville church of Christ at 1975 Haywood Rd., Hendersonville, NC on Wednesday, June 11th through Friday, June 13th starting at 9:30 am until 11:30am with lunch (menu provided below) provided directly afterwards.
Nursery provided for ages newborn through 2 years old.
Activities and classes provided for ages 3 through 5th grade.

Parent/Caregiver Workshops
Workshops will be guided by Karen Fitzpatrick, MA, LMFT in a relaxed group to learn ways to take care of YOU and lower the stresses that come with raising little ones. Each day, we will also have some of our own “craft” time while child(ren) are participating in their classes and activities.Wednesday Activity: A colorful way to express yourself at home

Friday Activity: Yoga with Chasity Heck

Parents/Caregivers welcome to come and eat with their child(ren). No breakfast or snack will be served so please make sure your child(ren) are fed prior to attending (if that is not possible, please let us know when you bring your child(ren) for the day).
Wednesday: Chicken Nugget "Clouds" (Gluten Free available), Ketchup and BBQ Sauce, Plain Lay's Potato Chips, Motts Applesauce Cups, "Light in the Darkness" Sandwich Cookies (G.F. available), Water Cups
Thursday: "Starry Skies" Pasta (Gluten Free available), "Full Moon" Meatballs (Gluten Free), Ragu Pasta Sauce (served separately), "From the Land" Carrot and Celery Sticks, Ranch Dressing, Fruit-Shaped Gummy Snacks, Water Cups
Friday: Corn Dogs (Gluten Free available), Ketchup, Mustard and BBQ Sauce, Plain Lay's Potato Chips, Diced Peach Cups, Animal "of the world" Cookies (Gluten Free available), Water Cups
